With 3 different elevations, Rumiñahui is one of the most impressive volcanoes in Ecuador. In this route you will reach the second highest peak with an altitude of 4757m / 15,607 feet. To get to this summit, it takes about 4 hours, if the weather conditions are good, you can appreciate it with an incredible landscape, with views of the Cotopaxi volcanoes and its surroundings. This is an ideal volcano for an acclimatization program and a first approach to altitude. It is very important to be prepared for this type of altitude, so that what deserves it is acclimated at an altitude of 3000 m at least one day before.
